Director of Acquisitions & Financing
With 15+ years of experience in residential, commercial and construction lending, his vast knowledge of these transactions help in expert analysis of current and future development projects. He has helped numerous developers with successful and highly profitable project acquisitions and financing, as well as placing permanent financing for the end buyers. He works with top real estate brokers and Realtors in San Francisco on a full range of property transaction types—single family residences, condos, multi-units, tics, mixed use and commercial buildings. He understands the market trends of buyers’ desired acquisition types, high yielding property types, optimal price points as well as lenders’ full qualification guidelines for financing. Having expert knowledge of up to date lending guidelines and upcoming changes to them keeps Point Presidio Development Group ahead of the curve and keeps projects on track for success.
Anthony W. Jones
Director of Operations and Development
A licensed California attorney and real estate broker. He graduated from Stanford University with a B.A. in Economics, and followed this up by earning a J.D. from USC Law School, passing the CA Bar in 2001. Since then, he has served a general counsel and/or COO for several Bay Area businesses, including an art university that doubled as the second-largest private landowner in San Francisco, a hospitality-focused investment company, and a web development/marketing firm. As Director of Operations and Development for PPDG, Anthony is charged with ensuring that projects come in on-time and on-budget; he also oversees all contracts and agreements pertaining to the purchase, TIC conversion, development and sale of PPDG properties.
Director of Branding & Strategy
A Bay Area entrepreneur with a Finance degree from the University of San Francisco and a professional background in marketing, Rodrigo has spent the majority of his career developing brands and has had a direct hand in forming several successful Bay Area businesses. Since spending the early part of his career working with large media organizations developing creative content for clients, Rodrigo has served as managing partner and executive board member for several San Francisco businesses. He also has direct project management experience, having been a member of the development team for the launches of Aventine SF, Aventine Hollywood, and Aventine Glen Ellen. Rodrigo’s experiences in business have also resulted in a vast network of local influencers, developers, investors and political figures—which facilitates Point Presidio’s ability to execute on deals in the SF market and beyond.
Understanding that good design drives value in a competitive market, Point Presidio has joined forces with Q-Architecture, a multidisciplinary San Francisco design firm with a global portfolio. This collaboration with QA’s founding principals, Theo Revlock and Dawn Ma, ensures that SmartSpace Living™ is evident in each phase of our projects.
Director of Architecture & Design
Educated in Philadelphia and did his post-graduate work at the Architectural Association in London. He has a wide portfolio of published and exhibited work from residential/commercial and planning to theater/institutional and public projects. His theoretical and built work always place architecture in dialogue with other disciplines, which push it to a new relevance. He maintains teaching as part of his career activities at UC Berkeley and City College of San Francisco, and often participates in juries in San Francisco, London and New York academia. His award-winning projects include Honorable mention in the Yokohama Port Terminal Competition, Yokohama, Japan; first place in an invited competition for Marine World in Rome, Italy.
Director of Engineering & Design
Dawn received her Bachelor degree with Honors in civil/structural engineering at University of Waterloo, Canada, and her Masters degree in Architecture at Parsons School of Design, New York. Her unusual dual practice in architecture and engineering began at the world famous landmark, Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, and later expanded as project engineer at multidisciplinary firms: GEZ Architects Engineers and Transystem Corporation. Prior to founding Q-Architecture, Ms. Ma partnered with Mr. Theo Revlock to create sea.design. Their work spans many different cultures and terrains, using design as the solution to the built world and media as a communication tool. Ms. Ma was educated in Hong Kong, Canada, and the US, and is fluent in Chinese, both written and spoken.
